 JOB DUTIES



  • Selling and promoting door hardware products to the architects and hardware dealers in the B.C. market;

  • Provide architects with consultation, specifications and projects coordination to best achieve the required sales objectives;

  • Maintain and develop existing and new customers and projects through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimize quality of service, business growth, and customer satisfaction;

  • Respond to and follow up on sales enquiries using appropriate method by post, telephone, and personal visits;

  • Manage Distributor network relationships.  This includes tracking of basic customer information, sales contracts, inventory levels, contract terms and other pertinent account details.  Work closely with teammates to achieve the monthly, quarterly and annual goals in place for your region or assigned territory;

  • Establish periodic goals and objectives and understand how they will be measured, receive feedback from the Regional Sales Manager and work towards achieving these agreed upon results within the stated time period;

  • Work closely with teammates to achieve the monthly, quarterly and annual goals in place for your region or assigned territory;

  • Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships;

  • Attend training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills;

  • Other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • Minimum 3 years experience in the architectural hardware industry preferred

  • Bachelors Degree in a business related field or equivalent experience

  • AHC certification preferred

  • A proven track record of sales achievement

  • Knowledge of company product lines is preferred;

  • Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills;

  • An understanding of technical door hardware products

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Proficient with MS Office
