Cameron's Process Systems The Process Systems segment offers one of the industry’s broadest portfolios of standard and custom solutions for the separation and treatment of oil, gas, water, and solids for upstream, midstream, and downstream applications. These applications include standardized products for Wellhead production, FPSO topsides processing equipment, unique gas processing solutions including dehydration, cryogenics, and CO2 removal and advanced seawater and produce water processing solutions.
Establish and implement functional best practices and processes.
Manage all planning functions on the project in accordance with the procedures where identified.
Development of project specific procedures including work breakdown structure and progress measurement methods in accordance with Company requirements.
Organize flow of planning and progress information with internal and external sources.
Development and maintenance of the baseline schedule for Company’s approval including planned progress s-curves and reporting formats.
Prepare progress reports including monthly reviews in a timely fashion including statement of critical paths and deviations against approved baseline.
Prepare forecast schedules based on actual project status and anticipated evolution.
Prepare specific schedules and what if simulations.
Ensure that Changes are taken into consideration and be pro-active in early identification of deviations and corrective actions.
Keep record of changes made to schedules through various revisions.
Preparation of the project planning report and ensure planning input for Corporate reporting is provided in a timely fashion.
Collaborate with the project team to provide resources schedule and actual progress.
Work hand in hand with the Project Risk Manager.
Ensure support is extended to proposal and bidding effort.
Customer Project Management Team.
Suppliers / Subcontractors.
Project work sites (construction yard, installation site) personnel.
Minimum Job Qualifications
Ability and willingness to uphold and implement the principles of sound project controls implementation based on business need and best practice and procedural
BS Degree preferably in Engineering, Construction Management or Business Administration.
8+ years project controls experience in project planning.
Provide leadership to the planning group.
Contractual and commercial awareness.
Capability to develop and implement reporting tools/processes based on having a clear understanding of the fundamental concepts of project controls (in those situations where the reporting tools are not in place).
Ability and the initiative to ensure that functional planning processes and practices are properly implemented on Projects.
Ensure that Project Teams are provided the necessary planning support.
Proficient in Primavera and CPM planning methodologies.
Computer literate and fully functional in all standard corporate software applications (i.e. MS Office, MS Visio, MS Access etc.). Experience in risk management (Pertmaster) and SAP is a plus.
Strong communications skills (both written and verbal).
Up to 25% of travel may be required.
